MARS The Y.A. #05

A UNESCO World Heritage site, Yakushima Island offers an exceptional aging terroir, renowned for its lush wilderness and legendary humidity. It is at the heart of this sanctuary that “MARS The Y.A.” is matured. This high-caliber blended malt brings together the best of Mars’ expertise, combining the finesse of Komagatake’s alpine distillates with the richness of Tsunuki’s. Matured predominantly in bourbon casks, these malts soak in the island climate to develop a unique signature, right at the intersection of tropical fruits and the sea spray of the place known as the “Island of Water.”
