Celebrating the peninsula that gave birth to some of the world’s greatest fortified wines, the 10-year-old small batch The Iberian is crafted from a blend of whiskies entirely matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and Australian port casks aged for over 50 years. Each sip reveals warmth and softness, with notes of raisins, stewed fruits, spices, delicate orange zest, and floral nuances. The Oloroso cask maturation brings aromas of dried fruits, leather, and tobacco, while the Tawny port cask ageing adds a sumptuous richness, with notes of dark chocolate and mandarin oil. An extended harmonisation period has allowed the whisky to draw additional sweetness from the wood’s natural sugars, delivering a delicately sweet finish. The oloroso brings nuttiness, leather and tobacco, while the tawny port brings sumptuous richness, dark chocolate and mandarin oil.
