The distillery sits in the beautiful nature near Mt. Komagatake, the peak of the Kiso mountain range. With fresh air and water gifted from the mountains, Mars has been committed to making the best craft at any given opportunity. The Single Malt Komagatake Sinshu aging “2021 Edition” represents the core expression of our single malt product as it allowed us to seek the ideal profile for our future style of Single Malt, in development since 2018. You will find the common characteristics of Komagatake: an elegant, rich and oily whiskey.
